Lens Direct rip-off! There's NOTHING Direct about Lens Direct! Hewlett, Long Island New York

This company consistently misrepresents itself. It does not stock many/most lenses that it sells, and therefore there's nothing "direct" about it. It is simply a middleman who marks up the lenses, which in my case have now been on "back order" for the better part of a month - even though I was charged for them more than 3 weeks ago.

Calls to the company result in rudeness from and incompetence on the part of so-called "customer service" people - with a smarmy, sarcastic attitude and neither the desire nor the ability to fix their problems. I would try any other online lens company rather that give a nickel to these rude and nasty people again.

I'm having the same problem with Lens Direct

I ordered contact lenses nearly three weeks ago. My credit card was charged immediately, but I have still not received the lenses. I have sent two e-mail messages to which I have not received a response. To top it off, my husband ordered contact lenses from another company three days ago and the lenses have already been delivered. Meanwhile, I still wait for my stupid lenses to arrive.

According to the order tracking function, my lenses haven't even been shipped. I'm going to call and demand a cancellation and a refund. We'll see how that goes...
