Complaint Review: Leon Anglin

Leon Anglin of Ocala, FL advertises under multiple business names on Craigslist routinely. I made the mistake of hiring him to do a roof seal on my trailer at which time he said he had a friend who had some repos that he could piece together a new awning for the cost of the roll and fabric material. He did only one roof application and said he would be back the following day...well the following day he said, "I have great news. my friend has the roll and material but he is leaving for Georgia in the morning. I can have it done for you this weekend, but I need to cover the materials. The tube is only $25.00 and material $165.00."  I paid him $135.00 for one roof coat $190.00 for the awning parts. After this I did some research on Leon handyman Ocala... well I found an image of him attached to many adds warning others of his shady business practices. He has an elaborate history of ripping people off in the Ocala and surrounding areas. He changes his business  names but continues to use the same phone number. If you do a google, bing, MSN, or Yahoo search for Leon Anglin Ocala, the first page is full of webpages and links warning others of his shady business practices and his brushes with the law. I have found 7 different mugshots of the man.
