I trusted and listened to Dr. Leonard Tolley and let him convince me that I needed to fill in a space on my lower jaw (I never had a tooth here).

He pushed me into braces and then decided that he was not comfortable with placing a 3 unit bridge (keep in mind he had models of my mouth and obviously no clue as to what he was doing).

He referred me to a buddy of his (Dr. Roy Blake) and guess what -- my healthy teeth were destroyed.

I published a teaching website in order to teach the public informed consent and to make sure that no one ends up in my position.

Dr. Tolley has the same attorney as Dr. Kaplan (doctor who placed 2 implants incorrectly) and they are now suing me to have my website shut down from the public's view.

Please be careful.

Did not legally obtain my informed consent for bridgework

#2Author of original report

Mon, June 13, 2005

Did not legally obtain my informed consent for bridgework. He did not advise of any risks associated with braces or bridgework. My healthy teeth were destroyed because of his greed. The end result was my teeth were moved by braces into the position that Dr. Tolley wanted and then he said "I am not comfortable with placing a 3 unit bridge here". He then sent me to his associate/buddy Dr. Roy C. Blake. He installed a 5 unit bridge (grinding down 4 healthy teeth). Then I ended up with 2 root canals on the back molars, and then the bridge broke and I lost my teeth.
