I am a US Citizen, tax paying, single mother who was wrongfully represented by a FL Attorney named Mr. Leonel Plasencia of Plasencia & Associates.Yes, I have filed a complaint with the FL Bar, however, it is merely a complaint. When a state certified attorney is negligent with a client, what recourse does one have?

He provided inadequate services and was unprofessional and negligent.  Mr. Plasencia does not have to reply to the Bar Association or my requests, nor do I expect him too. I paid him with confidence to represent me based on his expertise, and he did not. He has ultimately failed to do his job, that he was paid to do. I am NOT looking for disbarment, I am looking for some recourse. As a US Citizen, what legal rights do I have? I am no longer asking for help, I am begging. When an attorney does wrong, what recourse does one have?

Other attorney's in FL that I have spoken with, clearly indicated this is LAW 101 and he was negligent and should be begging for forgiveness from me.  He left out a very valuable and important factor to my divorce, and now I am legally bound to the marital home until it is refinanced. Anyone who gets divorced is entitled to be removed from the marital home if you are signing a quit claim deed over to the other party. The statement should be the following: The former husband must refinance or assume the mortgage in its entirety in order to remove the former wifes name. PERIOD.
