Complaint Review: Leonore Dalmacio

Be aware of an ongoing scam online and in New York. The perpetrator posts multiple ads for hotel jobs that are not real. First she engages with her victims by email and also on skype. The second step is to meet in person in Manhattan at a public place for an interview. She claims to work as an independent recruiting consultant with various hotels in NY and NJ. After a long charming in person interview she will ask for money from you in order to secure a face to face 3rd interview with a Manager at her client's hotel. It's all a scam. In my case I went through all this and then she asked me for $500 up front all in cash for a maintenance job interview at a hotel in Brooklyn. I walked out of the so-called interview when she asked me for money and after doing some research I found that the name she used Jackie Rombo is fake. Her real name is Leonore Cueto also known as Leonore Dalmacio and Leonor Rombo. I believe she is from the country of Philippines but there is conflicting information online about this. What I found is that there are 2 dozen reports online about her from craigslist job scams to insurance and western union fraud. In my case I only spent a metrocard fare and the cost of a coffee but it could be much worse if you trust this woman. There are no jobs and she is not a recruiter
