A few years ago, my husband and I took our car to LS to get new brakes put on. We only went there because we had an account. Within 2 weeks our brakes were squeaking badly. We went back to the store where we had it done and they said it was just because it was cold and there was nothing they could do. They were quite rude about it also, as they were busy. We found out that they had not put the red gel or lubricant on it. We then decided to not pay the full amount and only sent them a majority of the amount due. We called them and told them we were not paying full price for incomplete service. They sent the remaining balance to a collection agency and it was THEN put on our credit report. We paid the remainder, but the damage was already done. Suggestion: pay the bill then go after a refund.

Next - It was approximately 6 weeks after having the brakes done, that we got a flat tire on our car on our way to the beach with our kids. It was then that we realized that Les Schwab had lost the lock for our mag wheels. We had to tow our car back home. We went back to LS to see if they still had it. They didn't and even refused to accept responsiblity for losing it. Hense we had to order and pay for new locks and keys for our wheels.... I have refused to go back to Les Schwab.. EVER!

Also, to the person who called the first complainer "cheap". Some people live in the poverty level, and can NOT afford or at least at that very moment, able to afford to buy "NEW" tires!!!
