Complaint Review: Lester Polinar Sebay - Shoreline Window Fashions

Lester Polinar Sebay - Shoreline Window Fashions Grand theft, Ripoff sceme as a Sales Representative for SHORELINE WINDOW FASHIONS based out of Oxnard, Vallejo California

Buyers beware of LESTER POLINAR SEBAY, a former Sales Representative, for SHORELINE WINDOW FASHIONS. I purchased 10 Planation Shutters by SHORELINE WINDOW FASHIONS from Lester P. Sebay in May 2005. Our windows were measured, a work order invoice issued and payment given to Lester P. Sebay. Lester P. Sebay cashed our check but never submitted our work order.

We have done business with Lester P. Sebay twice in the past with no problems. Lester P. Sebay's RIPOFF SCEME was to gain the trust of customers and swindle them out of their money hoping it would be too time consuming to file reports with local authorities or agencies. WRONG, MR. SEBAY!

I contacted SHORELINE WINDOW FASHIONS (located in Oxnard, CA)and discussed SEBAY'S ripoff with the Manufactoring Manager, Mr. Patai. LESTER P. SEBAY was terminated by SHORELINE WINDOW FASHIONS. I was further told by Tony Margot (vice-pres. of Shoreline) that SHORELINE was not responsible for any refund and to "shove it".

I filed a grand theft report with the local authorities. In addition, I also filed a complaint with the California State Licensing Board against LESTER P. SEBAY for selling without a license. The D. A. filed on both charges against LESTER P. SEBAY.

LESTER P. BEBAY was eventually arrested in October 2005 in Livermore, CA working at WENTE WINERY on that warrant for grand theft and failure to appear. Legal civil issues have been also filed in Solano County against LESTER P. SEBAY.

I may not ever get my money back but I'll make sure LESTER P. SEBAY will spend some time in jail for his RIPOFF schemes. For those who have been swindled, do what it takes to file charges or take any legal action. Do not let them get away with this.

LESTER P. SEBAY will have that felony charge of grand theft haunting him for quite awhile (let's not forget his misdemeanor charge of selling without a license.

Beware of doing business with companies that hire these "ripoff" representatives without performing proper background checks.

#4REBUTTAL Individual responds

We here at Shoreline Window Fashions, Inc. would love to speak to you about your troubles. Problem is you seem to want to be anonymous for some reason. As with DAVE from Vacaville, we do not deal with the public. We are wholesale to the trade.

The company YOU picked to do your window covering products should be a licensed contractor. If they are not, you can report the company YOU went with to the Contractors state licensing board.

Again, as I stated to DAVE from Vacaville, We are only the manufacturer and you should seek legal advice. We can not be held responsibly for the choices you the consumer make.

Margott responce

#4Consumer Suggestion

Sun, January 08, 2006

Mr. Margott's responce to this customer sounds about the same as his responce to my order as well. Both he and his brother Mike Margott have had little regard to customers thier company is directly involved with. They have been in business for years as retailers under many names and with many partners. Tony Margott has an anger management issue and has spent time behind bars for those issues, just another reason not to have anything to do with this company and these individuals.

CALIFORNIA BLINDS & SHUTTERS INC

#4UPDATE Employee

Thu, December 22, 2005

I am writing in response to DAVE of Vacaville and his loss.

The contract written was done so between "DAVE" and "CALIFORNIA BLINDS & SHUTTERS INC" and NOT with Shoreline Window Fashions, Inc.

I spoke with DAVE several months ago and explained to him that the contract he entered into is with Mr. Sebay's company CALIFORNIA BLINDS & SHUTTERS, INC. and not with us.

I told DAVE that Mr. Sebay had worked very briefly for our company and was released very shortly after he started for lack of performance.

We perform background checks on all employees as per labor board standards and not beyond.

As far as me telling anyone to "SHOVE IT" is false. I told DAVE we as a company can do nothing and he should seek legal advice of how to proceed and I was going to end our phone call.

Shoreline Window Fashions, Inc. feels for DAVE'S loss, but is in no way responsible for the dealings of Mr. Sebay or his company.
