Beware of Lester Zsirai whos company name is Lester Zsirai contracting of Gloucester City NJ. Telephone # 856-813-0000 and 856-813-7731. Before being evicted his address was # 19 North Burlington Street Gloucester NJ. PO box 135 Gloucester City NJ. My wife and I are senior citizens 75 and 80 and we needed a new roof. On 10/10/11 I signed what I later learned was an illegal contract with Mr. Zsirai to install a new roof and siding on my home in Glassboro. During the estimating process he tore off roofing shingles and siding.
He required that I pay him $4,500 .00 in advance to purchase materials and he promised to begin work the very next day.
He has never started the job nor has he ever made any attempt to return my money.
He never returns my calls and ignores my attempts to contact him.
My attorney has turned the matter over to Paula T. Dowd the New Jersey Attorney General who is investigating that matter as fraud. Her telephone number is 973-504-6361.
In a December 1st court appearance in (Land lord tenant court) when he lost his case Mr. Zsirai shouted at Judge Laskin that he would file for bankruptcy. The judge wryly advised him to be quick about it.

i am the owner lester under no way did we take money that we were not intitled to we did a emergency service to his property witch included framing to support structure damage tarps to be installed at high winds to prevent further leaking [hazzard pay 12-12 pitch roof ] clean up write up a dammage report for insurance company over 125 pages pictures archentech and engineering report for township color matching to paint in the exterior and interior of home itemized material list for insurance company and i didnt even get a dime yet now after i spent 78 man hours myself plus 3 men at 17 hrs who got paid me i still waiting now 6 months later i get a check for 19,311.56 mr smith gives me 4500 with was due for that work that was all ready performed and the insurance company only would pay for a roof and siding repair and minor painting to interior of home he got mad at me for their conflick and tried to make me do all the repairs for less then half my original estimate i told him get another contractor witch he did and we all know what happens when you get a low ball contractor thats write he took as much money as he could and left him hanging any question call lester at 856-813-0000 thank you for reading and have a great day
