On August 24, 2009; I responded to an advertisement for a discounted Blackberry Bold, offered by Let's Talk.com.  However, I am beginning to believe that this is either a  fraudulent advertisment or a case of shear stupidity!!


First of all, I spoke with various people in the organization trying to get my order correct for the past five days, it's as if they have poor comprehension.  They input my cell phone number incorrectly and they said there was a problem. So, I called and cleared that information up.  Then, I received an email stating that my California cell phone number did not match my Nevada address. I sent an email and I called them back and I thought I cleared up the problem.


This is what followed:


I was told that I needed to upgrade my family plan. I don't have a family plan; I have a modem line for my laptop.


Then, I was told that they had to check my credit for an AT&T account that I have had for over 4 years.  Plus, I was told by AT&T that I was eligible for an upgrade on the equipment that I was requesting.


Then, I when I requested to speak to a Supervisor. They told me that no one was available and that they would forward my complaints to a Supervisor; and I have not heard from anyone.


Then, I was told that they couldn't upgrade a business account through AT&T; but they continued to leed me on as if everything was okay. So, after numerous hicups, I decided to cancel the order on August 29, 2009. 


Then, I was told that I couldn't get my money back for 3 to 5 days; because I cancelled the order.


Lastly, I am convinced that this is some kind of internet fraud or they need more training on how to do the upgrades. Can you please investigate this.
