I have attended two events at the Levi Stadium.  One was a concert and one was the recent Soccer match held July 23.  Each time we were forced to park at the large parking lot about 6 blocks from Levi Stadium.  There is absolutely no other nearby on the surface streets. Many businesses that are only open Monday thru Friday have large parking lots but are not offered for event parking.  There is also no street parking available anywhere near the stadium.  the parking is $50.  Walking many blocks is really difficult in the hot sun.  Why is there no shuttle to take people that have to park in this parking lot?

When i park in the Park and Fly parking lot when i want to get to the airport, there is always a shuttle from the lot to the airport.

Some football games offer shuttles from various parts of the Bay area to the AT&T park.

When you are already paying $150 for a ticket to see a show or a sport event, then pay $50 to park, then maybe eat a hot dog and get a drink, you are spending almost $300.  And then have to deal with the long wait to get in and out of the parking lot.  There were bicycle buggies that offered rides but it was $20 per person.  After paying $50 to park do i really want to pay another $20 per person to get to the stadium so i don't have to walk so far?

This is price gauging.  Why can't other parking lots closeby offer parking for a modest fee?  why can't the large event parking lots not at least offer a free shuttle?  Why can't the staff that assists drivers out of the parking lot at the end of the event not do more to guide the cars moving to the exits.  It seems that all cars just start making their own lines and try to merge without any assistance so it's like helter skelter trying to get out.  the staff is only on the outside waiving on cars.

This could be managed more efficiently.
