have over aggresive car salesmen and Staff. (except DG) Thier Used cars and trucks are unsafe to drive! I should

know because I have over 25 years of of hands on training. (Also ASE Certified) Read my real Review here at

http://autorepairsavings.blogspot.com/2013/04/lewis-bad-chevrolet-junk-buick-atchison.html I almost died and left

my 8 year old alone in this world. I heard a loud POP from under the Subaru Forrester then lost control striking a light pole head on. PLEASE go to the cities or some place else for your new or Used Cars and Trucks. Stay Safe!

Why do people always try to add "fluff" to try and make themselves sound more knowegeable than they actally are.

Because if you are truly an ASE Certified Mechanic there is no way you should be in this situation.   You would have thoroughly checked out the car BEFORE you bought it.  If you knew of any issues YOU would have had them fixed, or at the very least would have known it was too dangerous to drive until you did...you did NEITHER.

Unless their high-pressure tacticts included holding a gun to your head, tying up you or your son, or locking you in a room you could have walked out of the dealership at any time.  Of course if it did include any of those one would wonder why you didn't call the police.

Also, why if you only wanted to use $1300 for down-payment did you bring them a check for $2500?  If you wanted to use $1300, why didn't you bring a check for $1300?  What exactly did you want them to do with the extra $1200?   If they as you say weren't even going to give you the time of day until you brought in a check for $2500, why didn't you just go somewhere else?  As for not making a scene in front of your son...great job.  So instead of showing your son that he needs to stand up for what is right, you teach him that he should just "take it".

While you had quite a few "keepers", I think my favorite line from your "blog" was the following...

Untill I can find out which axle snapped in two and why the brakes failed to slow or stop me down Lewis Chevrolet Buick will pay dearly!

- Wouldn't you just need to look under the vehicle to find out which one snapped?  I would think as an ASE Certified mechanic you would have at least figured that out before you took the time to write your blog entry.   As for the brakes..you bought the vehicle knowing that the brakes occasionally went to the floor.  Wouldn't an ASE Certified Mechanic(which you say you are) be able to figure out the reason in 2 1/2 months..or again at the very least know that it is not safe to drive if they can't figure it out?

The one thing you should be thankful for is that you didn't post the name of the business you work for.  As anyone who reads this may not get an idea of what shop to go to if they need to get their car fixed, but they would probably figure out what shop they shouldn't go to.
