Complaint Review: LEWIS & LOVETT LTD dba DESERT WEST SURGERY

Now I understand why NONE of the doctors with Desert West Surgery are allowed to practice at UMC or Desert Springs Hospital anymore. They engage in activities that bring the medical profession into disrepute! If you or a loved one are thinking about having surgery or are in need of surgery, THINK TWICE before letting ANY of the doctors with this medical facility be the one that performs it (all locations included). Especially, Dr. Curry! If you were told by ANY of the doctors with Desert West Surgery that you need surgery or that you would benefit from having surgery, THINK TWICE! I urge you to get a 2nd opinion! They deceive innocent patients into believing that they are in need of surgery, they deceive patients into believing that they are candidates for certain surgeries when they are not, they intentially set up surgeries to fail just so they can perform a 2nd surgery, they use the Davinci Robot (as pushed and promoted on their website) for surgical procedures that it is not designed to perform and that they are not experienced enough to perform without the patient's knowledge, permission or consent. The FDA is currently in the process of trying to pull the DaVinci Robot off the market. If you are disabled or are a senior citizen and you have Medicare health insurance, monitor your Medicare claim summary reports to make sure you received the services the health care providers and hospitals are billing for!
