I visited this dealership on April 28, 2011 looking to purchase a specific preowned vehicle I met with sales associate Stephen Johnson who took all of my information such as my social security #, my bank statements, my debit card, credit card, license birth certificate and more and conveniently did not return my credit card to me.
Even though I had the paperwork from my bank for financing he pressured me into trying to finance through his creditors. He told me it would take a few days for him to process my information to finance an is250.
Mr Johnson never got back to me on the status of my application so after a week of no response to my calls and voicemails I set my sights elsewhere, the problem is that I was haggled by Mr Johnson into leaving a $500 deposit which I was told that would be returned to me with no questions asked if I decided not to purchase a vehicle. Now here it is almost 2 weeks later and everytime I call to speak to a manager I get a voicemail,
I call everyday to find out the status of my deposit and the not so helpful receptionist just transfers me to the preowned manager, Mr Louis Rivera's voicemail. Ive left several polite voicemails just inquiring about my deposit and havent the slightest idea why no one can be so professional enough to return my phone calls.
To top it off my credit card which was never returned to me by Mr Johnson was fraudulently used at a liquor store, and a restaurant, and a taxi cab service all within one block from this dealership. I am in the process of having my credit card situation investigated,
I feel that because I am a young woman that these slimeballs took advantage of me and my information. I just want to warn people to please be careful with this dealership with your information and your money because although you would assume that they would be a prestigious professional and safe car dealership they are the total opposite, and it is such a shame that these crooks and unprofessional men are working behind the desk at such a classy Lexus of Manhattan car dealership.

and file a complaint against the dealership. Then contact all of your Local News stations and get in touch with their Investigative Reporters and let them know what happened. You can also stand outside the dealership with a BIG picket sign informing others that you were Ripped-off.

Make sure to stay off of their property when picketing the dealership. You can pass out copies of your Ripoff Report to everyone going by. If you type in 354721 at this site you can read Jerry's Ripoff Report and his 'Update By Author #3'. It appears that the dealership finally responded after he put vinyl lemons all over his 2007 Toyota Camry and passed out fliers to everyone going by, wouldn't you agree?

Good luck, and keep us posted!
