Liberty Assurance, Inc Home Improvement Grant Notification Looks like they are working the scam under Homestyle Trust, Inc. now New York New York
I've just received the same letter as reported against Liberty Assurance, Inc. It appears that they have changed their name to continue the scam. The letter head on my letter indicates Homestyle Trust, Inc. with a check for 4,960.00 apparently issued by R & J Furniture Sales Inc. 1738 Elmwood Ave. in Buffalo, NY. My letter states to call 289-892-4096 and ask for Fred Johnson or Carmen Sloan. On the back of the letter it shows several companies as Donors from Best Buym GE, Office Depot, McDonald's, General Motors, etc.
