LIBERTY BENEFIT SERVICES ripoff! I paid $299 but they didn't send my MASTERCARD and now they won't answer the phone. Columbus Ohio

I RECEIVED A CALL FROM THIS COMPANY SAYING I COULD GET A $299 MASTERCARD WITH A $2000 LIMIT. I TOLD THEM I DIDN'T HAVE THE MONEY RIGHT NOW, BUT THEY SAID I COULD MAKE MY DECISION WITHIN 2 WEEKS AND WOULD TAKE MY INFORMATION ANYWAY.

DECEMBER 7,2003 WAS THE DAY THE MONEY WOULD BE DEBITED,AND IF I CHANGED MY MIND I COULD CALL BEFORE THAT DAY AND CANCEL IT. I DIDN'T HAVE THE MONEY BECAUSE I HAD TO PAY RENT.

I CALLED MY BANK ON 12/5/03 TO CHECK MY BALANCE - LO AND BEHOLD I HAD $299 LESS THAN I DID THE DAY BEFORE. SO, I CALLED THE NUMBER THEY GAVE ME AND A LADY ANSWERED THE PHONE, I TOLD HER THE FUNDS WERE TAKEN OUT OF MY ACCOUNT BEFORE THE AUTHORIZED DATE.

I LET HER KNOW THAT I HAD RENT TO PAY AND I NEEDED MY MONEY BACK. SHE TOLD ME THERE WAS NOTHING SHE COULD DO, AND JUST WAIT FOR MY CARD IN 10-15 DAYS.

ON THE FOLLOWING MONDAY I CONTACTED MY BANK TO GET THE ADDRESS AND COMPLETE NAME OF THE COMPANY,BECAUSE I'VE BEEN TRYING TO CALL THE COMPANY ALL MORNING WITHOUT GETTING A ANSWER.

I DECIDED TO CALL THE BBB AND THEY GAVE ME A WHOLE LINE OF COMPLAINTS ON THIS COMPANY. I'M IN THE PROCESS OF TRYING TO GET MY MONEY BACK,AND I LET THE BANK KNOW WHAT WAS GOING ON.

I WILL NEVER TRUST ANOTHER COMPANY OVER THE PHONE, AND THIS WHOLE SITUATION MESSES UP CHRISTMAS FOR MY 5 CHILDREN
