...Shame that it's too late. I found out while buying a new car that I already had terrible credit and that I needed some method of restoring it so that possibly I could qualify for lower interest rates. Having just had a beautiful baby girl earlier in 2001, I was interested in making a better life for her. The Liberty Benefits postcard that arrived in the mail seemed somewhat shady, but I decided to give it a go. They happily postponed the deduction of my payment until I got paid and sure enough, on the day I specified, the amount of $221.99 was deducted. I gained confidence that everything would go without a hitch.
But alas it did not!
4 weeks later: "Well, it's usually more like 6 weeks."
6 weeks: "Due to the attacks, packages are being delivered up to 90 days."
90 days: "Ooh, there was a serious boo-boo on your account. We will send it this week, it will arrive soon!"
4 months: "Oh, it's been sent. It should be there soon."
Finally, 6 months later: "Call is not allowed. P-U-A...N-Y."

So anyways, I join the elite who've been ripped off by this company. It's not so much the money that bothers me, but the fact that I could have done some really nice things for my daughter with it...but as it stands, it appears I will have to fight for it back.
