I am disgusted with this company and not only do I plan to never use them again, I will discourage my patients from doing so as well.

I have a daughter, currently 19, who is a type 1 diabetic.  I ordered testing supplies from them on 2 occasions, until I couldn't stand dealing with them anymore.  I received the explanation of benefits from my insurance company with a patient responsibility amount due.  Fine, I understand deductibles, I'm a doctor and deal with them every day. However, it didn't say that it went to the deductible, but that they exceeded the allowed limitations. I filed it to wait for the bill from Liberty in order to pay it.  Well I never received one.  The next letter I get in regard to this bill is a letter from a collection agency A Notice of Default.  Needless to say I was very upset and mystified, but what is worse is that it came in my daughters name. 

She was not even 18 at the time and she is covered by my insurance, which makes me responsible, I am the one who pays the insurance bills, but now she has a collection letter on her credit AND IT IS DUE TO LIBERTY'S  POOR RECORD MANAGEMENT!  I spoke to a billing representative to see why this was turned over to collections.  He said that the computer shows a bill went out every month. Really? I NEVER GOT ONE!  I pay my bills.  He says Well there is no information showing they came back  Well if the supplies got to me and the collection letter got to me then obviously the bill would have gotten to me if it ever went out!  You cant have a returned letter if one never went out! 

I also got calls, ad nauseum almost every night, usually automated, about reordering supplies.  I finally got a human being and told them I was no longer ordering from Liberty and to please stop calling.  Still the calls continued.  How about a call letting me know there is a problem with my account? They obviously had my number in the system!  Please don't use them. Businesses like this are the reason health care costs are out of control. They should be investigated for fraud and dispicable practices.  Oh and then to add insult to injury, after I complained, they sent me a bill!  This is really stupid because once they turn you over to collections, you don't pay them, you have to pay the collection company.  BEWARE!
