I was on craigslist looking for a job. I came across a job posting about "Office Helper" and I had sent an email to job-qq2vm-1903481418@craigslist.org. It wasn't until the 7th (I saw it the next day) I got an email reply from jacob12@prawlmedia.com. This is what it said:

"
Thank you for your prompt reply, as the hiring manager I am glad to see you are serious.

Your email is definitely appreciated. From your response we have gathered that you are qualified
for the current position, and in my opinion more so than any of the other 14 applicants who have
submitted their information for review.

To remind you, the job is basic but requires: some oral and written communication skills and the
ability to perform general administrative tasks including answering the phone and message taking,
the preparation of mailings, the order and maintenance of supply quantities, copy work, emailing,
filing, and typing. I will give you more specific details during the interview.

Hours: 9AM to 5PM (Can be flexed a bit if required)

General Pay: you can earn up to $25.00 per hour after your initial paid training (we will decide
final salary after interview based on experience)

Benefits Package: Dental and medical, eyecare, life/disability insurance, tuition reimbursement
after 6 months, vacation/sick time and 401k.

We are prepared to set up an interview time for you but you have not submitted one of the items
necessary to satisfy the pre-interview requirements. We show you have not completed your basic
IQ Quiz which all candidates must submit before scheduling an interview. We are trying to
complete the schedule for these interviews immediately so please take this quiz now so your
record is complete.

Perform the proficiency test here: www.myemployeeiq.com/?id=8kt8rhuuefs

Remember to confirm your phone number at the end so we may call you for the interview. If you
do not return the required information as soon as possible it may result in you being passed up
for the job.

Reply with the results and an availability time to set up an interview. My availability would
be from 7 to 10 in the morning or 2 to 5 PM.

We are looking to fill this position immediately so do not hesitate.

Have a great Tuesday

At first I was a little uncomfortable about the fact that
I had to take a ridiculous 10 question IQ test just to apply. Even worse, I had to
submit my cell number to receive a code TEXTED TO ME to verify my score. Never have I had to
experience such a bizarre application method. That should have been my first sign.
But apparently they needed my number to call me to provide the time, location,
and contact for my interview.
Got the call and got what I needed.

I made the announcement on my social network page about the interview.
A good friend asked me who it was with and I gave him a hint. He knew
who it was and linked me to this site. I read as many complaints about
Liberty National as I could, hoping that the clerical/secretarial job
was legit.

I was wrong. I showed up, expecting a 1 on 1 interview, instead I got
a group "presentation." Does that ring a bell? The moment this lady pulled
up Microsoft Power Point, my stomach started to turn. I could have walked out
immediately but I'm glad I stayed behind. Her presentation just provided more
ammunition for these complaints. If you are in Alabama and reading this, time
for a hearty laugh.

"When I first started working with the insurance industry, the first company
I had worked for was bad. They lied to their clients and their employees. ...
We have offices in Alabama but they will be closing soon and we'll be moving to
Texas."

By the second time she asked for questions I asked her...
Me: So when do I get interviewed for the office helper position?
Lady: Um, I'm sorry. We're interviewing for Sales Agents.
Me: Ok, just to let you know I'm not applying for sales.
Lady: Would you like my card just in case you change your mind?
Me: No.

When I came home, upset and severely disappointed, I checked my inbox. Lo and
behold, an email from richardsalivari@mediaprawler.com:

"How are you? Its wonderful to hear from you.
