Complaint Review: Liberty Online

Jan 23, 2003, I was Telemarketed from company. Said all services was free and then asked if it was ok. I said yes, they verified me with my date of birth.
They then told me it was going to be $29.95 per month for services and I told them they had lied, I was NOT interested, and not to contact me again.

This month's phone bill the $29.95 charge was there. This was from Liberty Online AND HBS Billing service (not ILD as others have reported).

Evidently they are using other companies now to do their bidding, I mean, billing for them.

I cancelled and they gave me a cancellation code. Waiting to see if they honor it.
