My wife and I purchased a tanning bedover $2000.00) and many other yard furnishings from this "Superstore" in early December 2001. Upon delivery of the tanning bed we attempted to use it only to find that it kept tripping our circuit breaker. Reading the set up information that came with the bed, it indicated that we may need a dedicated circuit. So with that I hired an electrician who ran the circuit (over $300.00).

The bed ran a little longer, but still tripped the circuit. I explained my situation to the people (they were extremely rude)at the store who basically told me that it must be my circuit/electrical service and that there was nothing they could do. I asked them for a refund and they refused, only offering at a 150.00 charge a variac (device that controld the electrical flow in a house).MY beleif was that they were concerned over the sales persons comission on the sale. By the way the Sales person was very nice and in fact I gave him $50.00 for his troubles.

After several calls and visits to the store they finally agreed to give me a only a partial store credit less restocking fees of > $300.00. At that point I was fed up with the lack of concern they showed and refused the credit. They finally relented and told me they would take they bed back but charged me over $300.00 re stocking fees for a device that they guaranteed. The store mananger told me that they haver had this problem before and that the electrical service can sometimes affect the functions on the tanning beds.

Leisure Living showed no compassion and their lack of customer support and concern is disturbing. I would strongly recommend that anyone looking for patio furniture or specifically tanning beds or jacuzzis, shop elsewhere, you'll find it cheaper and better quality.
