Back in June of 2017 I purchased a Lifan 2000 Watt ESI generator inverter from online through Home Depot. After only having about two and a half to three running hours on it. It just stopped running. Immediately i called the customer service at Lifan. Customer service guided me through several different procedures in hopes to find a solution to the problem. They were unsuccessful. When I ask to have it looked at by one of there service departments in my local area, I Was told they could not give out that information. However once a year of the two year warranty was up, they than could. When I questioned their policy. They told me some companies took advantage of the warranty. I then spoke to there warrenty dept. I finally got an approval to just ship my generator back to them.

After more than 3 weeks I was told mine was and electrical problem therefore could not be repaired and that they would be shipping me a new one. When I received my new generator it was in the same box that I had sent my old Generator back to them in. And in that box was now a used generator. I immediately called their warranty department and voiced my concerns over there treatment and honesty they denied any wrong doing. I then email them pictures. That led to an email from the warranty department with an apology to me. They we're under the impression that the generator was new. I am now informed that a new generator is on its way. This company has given me a runaround since my first call to customer service I would not nor do I ever intend to buy another lifan product
