Please do not do business with lifestyle vending. I am not writing to be the judge of anyone's character, I am just going to tell you about my experience. I ordered the machines in June. At the time I ordered them, my credit card was billed. More than a month later, I finally received the machines.

I am not sure if you can legally bill before you ship in New York (some states allow it), but it is not respectable business to bill that far in advance. It was not explained to me that it would take this long to get the machines. I would not have done this if I had known it would take this long, because of the cycle of my full time job.

First of all, the stand for the Snack Mates are shipped with absolutely no directions or picture. I purchased several machines, and I was told there were directions in one of the several boxes. Wrong!! Spent 3 or 4 hours putting it together. With a picture 15 or 20 minutes.

Machine #1 - the ratchet key would not go in - Locksmith had to repair it.
Machine #2 - One knob will not turn - nothing is stuck in it. Had a mechanic take it apart.

Machine #5 - I made sure the ratchet key worked(learned that from #1), tried to attach the machine to the stand, and there were no holes in the bottom. I called, and the guy suggested that I drill the holes. I did not get the holes just right, so 4 hours later the stand is on the machine. I flip the machine upright, and the ratchet key will not not go it. Lock Smith had to repair it.

Machine #5 - The first time I went to replace the product, it would not open. I had to call the Lock Smith again. He explained to me the the machine doors are poorly made and that I need to file down the inside of all of the locks, so they would not get stuck.

Machine #8 - The drawer would not pull out for me to load candy. The metal sides were all messed up. Mechanic repaired it. These are brand new machine that I have learned I paid way too much for.

Machine #9- The holes in the legs of the stand had paint in them, so the screws would not go in. They did ship me a new stand, but now time I loose when I get to customer's shop and set up and cannot complete. I am not sure if I have the energy to open #10.

The locating company, APS, is also suspect. I do not think they give the businesses accepting the machines the whole story. Some of my businesses thought that this was completely for the non profit organization to which I selected to give a portion of the proceeds. So far 2 of my locations have fallen out.

The saleman did not make sure he spoke with the person authorized to make the decision, and I was told by APS that I should have done that. I was supposed to make sure he did his job. Why would I hire someone to locate?

Life Style Vending lays it on thick. You think that time is of the essence, and that you have reserved a territory, when if fact you have not.
My locator suggested a location outside of my "pretend territory". When I said something about the territory, he had no clue as to what I was talking about.

I have learned a big lesson. I have some machines in places with wonderful people. Some of those places have helped me with my machines and renewed the faith in people that I lost dealing with Life Style Vending and APS.

Please don't let it happen to you. I hope there is a class action lawsuit.
