Life University Dr. Guy Riekeman Rip off scam fraud student loan misrepresentation chiropractic, Internet
This is a warning to anyone thinking of going to Life University. As a student or a patient
Life University is a complete ripoff and scam. During my stay at Life university I witnessed many unethical things happen. 1st, I would like to address the leader of Life university Dr. Guy Riekeman, I witnessed Riekeman during business class lie to students and state that the average Chiropractic income is $230,000 per year!!! If you do research you'll find out it's indeed a lot lower. As matter of fact because of the Quarter million dollars in student loans most students take out it will be impossible for them to have their own business and will end up working for $25,000 per year.
Many will never practice at all and will end working at a retail chain or Fast Food. And in case you're wondering, yes I've met many Life university grads doing this for a living. But Why would he care according to different sources with his added benefits he makes 1.2 million a year. Next we have the Vice President for Academic Affairs and self proclaimed hired gun Rob Scott (Robb Scott) . When experiencing issues with the financial aid dept. I was told by Dr. Catherine Faust the dean of the sports health science to contact Rob Scott.
She said to me I'm tired of my students being treating like second class citizens. Many already know of Life university losing its accreditation in 2002. Upon experiencing unprofessional actions by other teachers that could cause loss of accreditation again I contacted Dr. Rob Scott. Instead of doing the right thing he turned his head, thus FAILING at his job. Let's think about this He's being paid a high sum of money, you as a student are borrowing a large sum against your future.
If Life university would lose it's accreditation the people at the top of this pyramid would just move on to another university. You as a student however would have thousands in debt with no chance of buying a home or a car. If you or someone you know have been scammed by life university please contact the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and file a complaint. Also contact Inspector General at U.S. Department of Education and file a complaint. This university abuses tax payer dollars.
Also as a student if you're thinking about going to the student clinic, don't. It's very dangerous. I myself was injured at the student clinic and had to pay $200 to a skilled doctor to correct my issues. This University offered me no help. It took my money & time. I wonder how people like Rob Scott can sleep at night knowing how he is scamming students. Remember you can not file bankruptcy on student loans !!!
