We were sponsored in to LPU by a couple from Michigan. They seemed pretty similar to our family and lifestyle and made the business sound fun and exciting. After the first few months of attending team building calls and going to our first Breakthrough event in Fiji the red flags started occuring. First off after all the great things we heard about the event our sponsors suddenly could not attend and then after the event I started to notice that from the past event pictures there were very few of the same people attending, which lead me to believe LPU may have a lot of one timers. As we struggled with getting traction in the business from a small rural state our sponsors said we need to inflate our results when we speak with potential clients and make it appear as though the business is great and we are living the life of luxury. I said you mean lie to our clients. They said we have to envision ourselves as successful in order to attract new people to the business. We felt that was a nice way of not telling the truth, and that just did not fit with our belief system, so we decided to move away from LPU and stop wasting additional money on a company that is willing to promote such a business plan. I did not waste my time asking for a refund, but I did request receipts for my membership, which they have never sent me. When I try to contact LPU they never return a call.
