Complaint Review: Lift Sp

Lift Sp Dr Steven Jepson MD They advertised using channel 7. and Oprah, and they have nothing to do with this. you sign up for a free bottle of wrinkle serum and agree to pay 4.95 S & H .. then after you order and give your card. they tell you you have joined a membership and bill your card for 60 something dollars. I canceled my card immediately after reading another womans report. Internet

I was on what I thought to be a part of abc channel 7, and also Oprah. which I thought would be legit. to order a free bottle of wrinkle serum and all you pay for is S & H 4.95... after you complete your transaction you then get a IM from a customer service rep saying you are inrolled in a membership. and it gave a amount of 60 something dollars. to be charged to your card. I kept trying to tell customer service rep I want to cancel my transaction. and she kept avoiding me and she continued talking about the membership I was now in. it says nothing at all about a membership until you give your credit card info.

Please if you have already signed up for a free bottle of wrinkle serum with your credit card. CANCEL your card immediately. which is what I did. and when I called my card services I was informed that within minutes of my order the transaction had allready gone through. luckly for 5.95 and from what another woman says about this site, she was not so lucky she did not cancel hers right away. and was charged over a period of time 60 something dollars to her card. and they have access to your card at any time
THIS IS A SCAM.. RIP OFF PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS

Are you sure you read the fine print Debi?

Can you please provide the website address (URL) of the site you made the purchase from so the rest of us can check it out?

All of these types of business must indicate somewhere on their site that the customer is voluntarily joining a membership of their own free will. If not then you have a case. If they do then your day in court will be short and costly.

All of these sites place these terms generally in a link at the bottom of the home page where it might say something like "Terms & Conditions" or "Customer Service" or whatever. I've seen these Lift SP sales page like this one http://www.yourownperfectface.com/ where the membership, costs, cancellation procedures and anything else you can imagine is right there in the Terms & Conditions link at the bottom of the page.

It has now past the time I was suppose to receive my risk free trial bottle of tis serum. I have ordered and just as I thought they billed my credit card for over the shipping & handling fee. and I have not received anything at all from these crooks. I tried calling the customer service reps. and nothing has happened. and for those of you out there who think I did not read the fine print, I have. and their website states NOTHING about a membership fee. THIS COMPANY IS A FRAUD. and I have allready contacted the BBB on them . and a claim has been filed.
I am also among 15 other consumers who have been scamed by these
scam artists. who will be prosecuted to the fullest. not just by me.
SO TELL ME DOUBTING CONSUMER WHO HAS LEFT ME A COMMENT SAYING I HAVE NOT TAKEN THE TIME TO READ THE FINE PRINT. APPARENTLY YOU CAN NOT READ AT ALL . BECAUSE I DID NOT SEE THIS AD ON TELEVISION IDIOT.... I SUGGEST YOU GO BACK TO SCHOOL TO LEARN TO READ.and if you say I was being foolish as far as me taking a opportunity to pay only shipping & handling at 4.95 and then being told after they have my credit info. and then they tell me I am now in their membership program. and again their website states NOTHING ABOUT A MEMBERSHIP AND I STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED MY PRODUCT THAT THEY NOW HAVE MY MONEY FOR. and when you try to contact customer service they do not help you. there is no way to get through to them.

SAW IT ON TV AND ASSUMED IT WAS LEGITIMATE - FOOLISH

Advertising space is sold to anyone who is willing to pay for it.

NO CHECKS ARE MADE FOR LEGITIMACY of product or company selling it.

YOU ASSUMED that because the commercial aired during Oprah that she was somehow endorsing - THAT IS JUST PLAIN STUPID!

I would suggest however that the next time you see that commercial - read the fine print - it probably stated it on the commercial that you were signing up for a membership program - you just chose to ignore it. As most people do - because its too much trouble to read.....
