Light Impressions Direct ~ when I ordered almost $100 worth of merchandise, it was "in stock." Then backordered again & again. They said they would refund $ but never did. Internet

I am a retiree, trying to start a small home-based business. I ordered about $100 of essential supplies from Light Impressions Direct -- a company I had done business with several years prior and both the products and the service were fine.

The items I ordered appeared to be in stock. But. They did not arrive when expected.

Then I got an email that they were back-ordered for six weeks. I tried and failed (online) to cancel. Then another email came -- they were back-ordered for six MORE weeks. I called 800# several times and eventually got a person.

I asked her to credit my Amex card. No dice. She said they had to send a check -- in 4-6 weeks!
That six weeks was up this week, and now they are not even answering phones.

I called Amex and they said that their 60-day limit on claims had come and gone. So I am s****ed, I guess. And very angry.
