on September 22,2006 I purchased a car from Lighthouse Truck and Auto. The car quit working on October 11th 2006 and I have been waiting for 6 months for my car. It has been from town to town... mechanic to mechanic.. and as of March 22, 2007 the car is not in my possession nor is it fixed.

I have been threatened and cursed at by the staff of this business.

I live in a good ole boy town and the lawyers in this town will not go against him. What does a single girl do in a case like this?

The dealer sold me an expensive warranty that does not want to pay for the repairs to this car either.

The dealer said today march 22,2006 " I have no legal obligation to sell a car that works properly, or to fix the ones I swll."

Is this true? How do I get help and a car to drive?

what car you bought, what you paid, what the warranty terms are (and are not), and what the problem(s) with the car may be.

Nor do we know the terms of sale, like "As-is, Where-is" is a real baddy for the buyer.

Many people troup off to a used car dealer to "save money" without reading the April issue of Consumer Reports. Many times you CAN buy a new small Toyota or Honda for the price of a used car plus an "extended warranty". Why? Because there is simply NO REASON to ever buy an extended warranty on a new Toyota or a new Honda.
