I ordered a shower and bath faucet combination from LightintheBox for $120.31 . When it came and it was time for the plumbers to install it they found that it was defective in that it had no threads machined into the shower wand attachment so could not be attached to the port on the faucet for the shower. Then they discovered that the seat flange used to attach the faucet to the wall plumbing was cracked and defective so it would not stop leaking. When I e-mailed LightintheBox to get the defective parts replaced They claimed it was beyond thier 30 day warrenty even though it was defective from the factory and they refuse to send me the few dollars in parts it would take to fix the faucet. I think they should replace those parts because they were defective from the factory even though it is just a few days beyond the 30 day warranty when the problem was discovered during installatiion.

Bath faucet apology LightIntheBox

 While I accept LightInthe Box apology it does not make up for the two and a half months process to install a faucet that should have taken 5 minutes. LightIntheBox got the picture shown three different times with a description of the part and still did not send the correct part. Finally, in exaspiration I repaired the part and made the faucet work. I will not be buying anything from LightIntheBox in the future.

Shower bath faucet update

LightIntheBox has sent me three replacement parts for the defective faucet over three months after I stopped payment on my credit card. None of the parts  sent resemble the defective part I needed and they had a good picture of it. Obviously there is a language barrier and maybe some incompetence on LightIntheBox part. At least they did send something just not what I needed. Finally after three months and no patience I went to my home shop in the garage and brased and machined a new part for the faucet! Lucky I had the tools and skill to do that! I will never buy anything from LightIntheBox again!
