Lightship Research - MMI Research (websites Are IDENTICAL) Elizabeth Johnston is quite the saleswoman - clearly a scam as you listen to her! Chicago Illinois
I received an email from Julie Chen at a company that has no web presence, Collins-Reed. Of course she liked my resume but had nothing for me. Then, provided Elizabeth Johnston's phone number (NO email - that was a tip off) describing her in glowing words.
So I bit, and called the number. She went into a long drawn out sales pitch about how reverse-search is the way to go. They would provide 100 direct contact leads into companies. NOT HR people, but the hiring managers. How - oh that's proprietary. She even mentioned the price without needing to be asked - again, a tip off. Pricing is never mentioned up front, but she spit out $1740 which was another tip - way too low.
To make you feel special, she says that they only accept 20% of the cases! Really, you turn away 80% upon reading the resume. Why? They claim they only want cases where they can get a placement in 30-90 days. Laughable. And before you pay, you'll get a 90 minute review with the "team leader" who will discuss what I want, etc. More tip offs.
Steer clear of this group. I thank this site for allowing me to confirm my thought about this group feeding off people who might be desparately looking for a job. But they contacted the wrong person!

The way that it is described that they get job leads is correct - and they do screen the people that they except into the program however - I worked with them for 6mths before I found my ideal job - so the rest of what this person says is just not simply true! If you want/ need a job then I would recommend you contact them!
