Complaint Review: Likom USA

I have had the misfortune of purchasing a Likom 17" monitor,
12-19-2001 from Outpost.com aka: Fry's Electronics. I wish I had viewed this sight prior to my purchase because it would have saved what I see a long uphill battle for a $50 rebate.

As like most of the stories, I purchased the monitor because of the rebate, as soon as it arrived, sent in the rebate information, only to recieve back from Likom a form indicating I had not sent the proper information.

I believe my only saving grace will be the fact I documented everything and sent it Certified Mail.

Thanks to all who have sent in their horror stories, it will help when I follow up on this. I plan to contact the BBB of Southland, CA, my local Congressmen, Senators, federal regulatory agencies. This will include not only Likom but also Fry's Electronics for deceptive advertising.

Once I get things going I hope to keep others informed on this site, maybe we can put a dent in these unscrupuious companies.
