limewire.com - mydownloading.com - 360share ripoff deceived CONTACT TECH SUPPORT NON EXISTENT 800#DISCONNECTED Internet
My friend refered me to www.limewire.com, to download FREE x-mas music. I kept searching the site for the download. The next thing I knew,I was being told, that if I wanted to download music,I had to pay a fee.(.99 a mo.)
I wanted the music so badly, that conceded to .99 a mo.
They DIDNOT make it clear, that they were going to charge me the whole 2yr fee at once.(not until after I paid)Did not have funds in bank to cover!
Immediately, I clicked onto,CONTACT,TECH SUPPORT, and a few other tabs.In order to cancel out. (as,the site stated, you can cancel at anytime. To NO avail, the same page kept coming up.Only allowing you, to click onto other downloads.
I called my bank, in order to try and avoid an OVERDRAFT.
The phone number my bank was able to find for site was DISCONNECTED! I gave the bank, www.limewire.com they found www.mydownloading.com!
At this point, I STILL wanted x-mas music.(I did manage to avoid an overdraft)So, I downloaded the site.
Much to my disbelief, the site was now called 360SHARE!(share your files)Still no x-mas music!
That was it, I was fit to be tied! I removed EVERYTHING from my programs, and was now going to try and get my money back,SOMEHOW!
However, upon removal of this site, I get an error message from windows, saying:they found bugs in the program, send message, debug,etc.......So, I now ALSO, HAVE A "fatal error"of some sort, that comes up on my PC, anytime I restart.
I want my money back, and my PC cleaned, of their bugs!

To the original poster of this thread:
The music downloads on Limewire are not really FREE. They were ripped from CDs and are put up on the internet for others to download illegally.
It sounds to me like your computer has probably been compromised if you have poker installed on your computer now. Your best bet is to have a good malware/spyware program (( link removed by ROR))
A good antivirus program, and either a hardware or software firewall installed.
I am also sure that you clicked on a EULA type document releasing limewire of any liability if the software you downloaded did any damage to your computer. You should really know what you are installing BEFORE you do it.
Thanks for the chuckle though. I have a lot of customers that are not very knowledgeable about these things and it just cracks me up everytime I hear them say what you said in your posts.

I was not trying to STEAL anything.
The friend who refered me to the site, had downloaded his own x-mas music, a few days before!
That's why he refered me!He downloaded his FOR FREE!(I guess I should've asked him to do it!)
And, if you knew you how to read better, you'd see that, even when I did pay, I didnot get A MUSIC DOWNLOAD SITE! I got 360share and POKER!!
I WAS DECEIVED!
Try rereading the rest of my complaint. You'll also see, that I said, I deleted their site from MY PROGRAMS!!
I guess you are not sharp enough to pick up on that. One need's to be EXACT, for YOU to understand.O.K,I removed the program from add/remove program from my CONTROL PANEL! BETTER.
Do you understand that now!
I can tell, you are someone who speaks before you know what you are talking about!

First of all, music is not free. You tried to steal it, and you screwed things up along every step of the way. You reap what you sow.
Second, learn how to use your computer better. It took me about 3 seconds to find the free download on www.limewire.com ... You click "download" then "get basic" ... this is not rocket science, it's grade-school level reading. Your problem was when you clicked "get pro" instead of "get basic" which brings us to...
Third, it said "Get Pro For A Single Payment Of 18.88. Enough said.
Fourth, you can't just delete the folder from my programs to delete software. You go to "add/remove programs" from your control panel.
Fifth, stop bitching that you got snookered into paying for what everyone else steals for free.
