Linc Services Group - I initially met with two VP's of the region in Florida. I had a good interview and a second interview was set up. They gave me parameters of a fictional company and I created a Powerpoint Presentation for them, they said it was the "..best one they have ever seen." Mind you, at this point they were telling me that I "got through the hardest part", now we just have to do a sales aptitude test and a psychological survey. I did that and passed with high marks. My next interview was with the internal recruiter. He praised my ability and said that after I go to dinner with the VP of Sales and his and my wife, I will be extended an offer for $50,000 per year PLUS $700 per month car allowance, a laptop and a PDA. Naturally, I thought the position was mine and informed my family members. Before the dinner, they flew me to Detroit to meet the VP of Sales for the country. She was 20 minutes late for the interview and rushed me through a fast food pizza lunch. She then introduced me to three people in the office in Detroit and I spent an hour speaking with each of them individually. After Detroit, I went to the dinner with the VP of Sales and our wives, it went well. Next, I interviewed with the Regional VP of Florida to "...find out about the day to day life of my position", this was a 2 hour ordeal and he once again praised my abilities and my future with Linc. I was then told to wait for a call with my offer. The call I got was to inform me that I would have to fly to Atlanta to meet with the CEO. My meeting with the CEO was difficult. I answered all questions truthfully and he re iterated my facts wrongly( i.e. i would tell him the reason I left a job and he would later say "...so you were let go, and I politely would say no, I left for a better opportunity" He did the same thing with income I told him I made for a particular position and he would say, "so you made (half of what I said) and I would again have to politely correct him. He was upset that it took me a little longer than the standard 4 years of college to get a four year degree, (because I had to work my way through school). Mind you I am 44 and have been out of school for 20 years. He was also upset that I could not relate the exact specific numbers of a job I had 3 years ago in regards to quota attainment - there are some things I just forgot about, especially the small intricacies of a position 3 years ago. I did exceed all quote requirements at the time, he just didn't believe me. Needless to say, i was rejected when I finally got home. Seven interviews, two flights out of the state, (a dinner and a Powerpoint ) and told, "..we're not going to move forward"  The hiring process at Linc Services Group is borderline criminal. I feel that it is psychological terrorism and I warn anyone thinking about working with the to re-consider imediately.
