Lincoln Heritage Took money out of bank account AFTER policy was cancelled - refuses to give back Phoenix Arizona
Called to cancel policy for my disabled mother, she could no longer afford it. I canceled BEFORE the next payment was due. They still took the next months money out of her account.
I called them again and was told they would not be putting her money back into her account, apparently they won't cancel the policy until they mail you a letter and you sign & mail it back to them! I asked to speak to someone else and was put on with a supposed "manager". She was no help at all.
It's bad enough when someone has a life changing event, runs out of money, cancels an insurance policy BEFORE the next bill is due, yet is still charged for the NEXT month. What's worse is when the insurance company feeds people these lines of BS about their "whenever we mail you a letter and you mail it back to us and we get around to canceling it" and REFUSING to give people their money back.
Hey Lincoln Heritage, thanks for stealing $134.00 of what little money my mother had to live on! You're a bunch of real winners over there.

After contacting the BBB, Lincoln Heritage has refunded the money. This matter has been resolved.
