Purchased a new 2005 Mercury Montego last year from Spartan Lincoln Mercury in Morrow, GA. Vehicle was recalled due to the straps that hold the gas tank to the vehicle failed.

Vehicle needed all new brakes after only 20,000 miles of mostly highway driving.Although the engine was running their was no moving the vehicle in either forward or reverse gears. Dealer said the throttle was defective.
Parts of the upper dashboard are bubbling up and coming apart.

This is too much defectiveness in a new car. The re-sale value is so low that I can't even trade it without a $10,000.00 deficit.
