Complaint Review: Lincoln Trust Prize

I received a check on about the 24th day of October 2008 along with a check informing me that I had won a contest in which i was entitled to receive the sum of $50,000. The first check I received was in the amount of $3450.15. Then on November 4th 2008 I received another letter along with another check in the amount of $4800. I grew suspicious of these checks so i took to a local bank in my area which confirmed my suspicions, they were fake just like I had thought. When i received the first check I thought maybe my money troubles were over but as time went by and i received the second check thats when my suspicions really kicked into high gear. If I had deposited those checks into the bank like they had asked me to I would have had the worst financial problems i could have ever faced. So please if you receive these checks, do not cash them these people will steal from your bank account just like they were going do to me.
