Complaint Review: Linda R. Souve Souve Pendracki Burks Rhodehouse PLLC

My personal experience was not with Linda Souve, but with her law partner, Michael Pendracki. He is a liar, manipulator, and disgusting human being. He violated my HIPAA rights, in open court, filed motion after frivolous motion, all of which were full of unsubstantiated claims, accusations, and misinformation. When I disproved the accusations in a motion, he filed a new one, with new lies. I find it very hard to believe that Linda Souve is very different than her partner, or that if she is such an upstanding lawyer, she would remain in a partnership with someone as morally bankrupt as Michael Pendracki. My children continue to be victims of these greedy, lying, self serving attorneys and Judges in Wayne County family court.

Due to the fact that I am not blogge savvy or the brevity required and I have family and friends who are, I am resubmitting my response to Ms. Lois W's obvious Smear Campaign against Linda Souve and her associates in hopes that potential readers will quickly see that this Ripoff Report is nothing more than a waste of time to those of us who actually care about our children as we face divorce and the affects that are thrust upon them.

First, I am a current client of Linda Souve and have been since 2002; and as a client I am proud and honored to consider her the protector of my children, an honest source of guidance, and voice of reason as to what is best for my children. She is a caring and hard working attorney, that although rarely found in today's society, actually puts the children of divorce first as she approaches each case and would in my opinion make her highly qualified to be appointed as a GAL in any court. She is by no means the typical attorney that will say and do what ever must be done in attempt to secure the desires of their client just so long as they are being paid regardless of the outcome or affects on the children.

Second, as to outlandish claims of theft from children and financial charges by Ms. Souve, I can assure you that I have never been Nickled and Dimed by Ms. Souve.

Third, having read this Ripoff Report by Ms. Lois W. and being an unwilling participant in the Let's drag out a divorce forever Club; I cannot help but question the merits of this Report, given that very few facts, if any, regarding this case have been presented. In fact, I would first question what the actual facts were behind the eight frivolous change of custody cases brought before the courts nine times over the past ten years that resulted in the need for a GAL in the first place. Also, I would question whether both parents of these children have been acting responsibly, making every assurance that their children are being put before themselves; as well as, what lifestyle or actions Ms. Lois must be or had been pursuing that would prompt the Linda Souve that I know to inform any mother that she would lose custody of her children (including Ms. Lois very heartbreaking claim of attempting to commit suicide); especially given that we are talking about the Wayne County Third Circuit Court, which is the most liberal in their thinking in the entire state of Michigan and most actions or lifestyles of divorced couples with children allowed in this Court would not be tolerated in any other Michigan County.

Finally, if some of you did not actually get bored with my first response to this Report and read it in it's entirety; I hope that you will understand when I once again say to everyone out there that although it is best to never belong to the Let's drag out a divorce forever Club, if you really want a chance at moving on with your life and putting your children first then you cannot go wrong with Linda Souve, Souve, Pendracki, Burks, Rhodehouse, PLLC.

First, I would like to make it clear to anyone reading this Ripoff Report that I am a current client of Linda Souve and have been since 2002; and as a client am proud and honored to consider her the protector of my children, an honest source of guidance, and voice of reason as to what is best for my children when I become angry or hurt over each attempt my ex-husband has taken to defame my character and suggest impropriety in order to change the custody of our divorce awarded by the Wayne County Third Circuit Courts filed in 1999 and finalized in 2000; where in I was awarded full physical custody of my children, as well as, joint legal custody.

Second, Ms. Souve did not represent me during my divorce. I sought her out in 2002 after my ex-husband had hired his fourth attorney, and once again filed a motion to change custody for the fourth time. Talk about spending money, my new husband and I spent over $30,000 in 2000 and 2001 alone just to keep what had been awarded by the courts as attorneys hired and paid for by my ex-husband claimed whatever was necessary regardless of the truth and regardless of what was best for the children so long as they were being paid.

Third, having read this Ripoff Report written by Ms. Lois W. from Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan, and being an unwilling participant of the Let's drag out a divorce forever Club; I cannot help but question the merit of this Report given that very few facts regarding this case, if any, have been presented and appears to read more as a Smear Campaign against an honest, hard working attorney, that although rarely found in today's society, actually puts the children of divorce first as she approaches each case. Unfortunately for Ms. Lois W. this Report only reads as if it were written by a bitter woman and in fact only hurts the rest of us going through a divorce or post divorce due to the old Hell hath no furry like a woman scorned stereotype that women today must work very hard to live down.

Next, as to her statement in paragraph two, After eight frivolous change of custody cases that have resulted in no change in the past nine years, why do you even need a GAL? along with her claims that she was told in paragraph eight by Linda R. Souve prior to the trial that I would lose custody of my children; I would first question what the facts truly were behind these nine frivolous change of custody cases brought before the courts that resulted in the need of a GAL for the children in the first place. Also, I would question whether both parents of these children have been acting responsibly and making every assurance that their children are being put before themselves. We are only given our children for a short time and as they are blessing, I hope that every parent, including Ms. Lois is evaluating her or his own life to see that they are meeting the responsibility given them when they chose to have these children, regardless of whom they chose to make them with!

Then, I would question what actions or lifestyle Ms. Lois must be or had been pursuing that would prompt the Linda Souve that I know to inform any mother that she would lose custody of her children, especially given that we are talking about the Wayne County Third Circuit Court, which is the most liberal in their thinking in the entire state of Michigan and most actions or lifestyles of divorced couples with children allowed in this Court would not be accepted in any other Michigan County. It, also, prompts me even further to say that there has to be more behind this Report than meets the eye, as well as, question the environments Ms Lois and her ex-husband must be providing for their children in order for a Wayne County Third Circuit Court Judge to actually find it necessary to appoint a GAL after a ten year extended custody case, given that they deal on a daily basis with the children of Detroit who are so often neglected, as well as, physically and mentally abused.

Next, I would like to say that unfortunately, even though most divorced couples stop their battles after two to three years, learn to get past their hurt, and begin to realize that the children must come first; there are few that cross that emotional line and can never get past the scars of divorce, can never recognize that they are hurting their children by continuing their battle, and in the end, miss out on the most precious times of their children's lives that they can never get back. I for one, with Linda Souve's help, regardless of what my ex-husband has thrown at me, have chosen to discard any past hatred or hurt feelings, do everything in my power to look to the best interest of my children, view each moment with them as a blessing, make the most of every opportunity, and refuse to waste that precious time given before they are grown and gone on something that only makes you miserable and hateful inside.

Having said this, I hope that any one reading this Report will consider that there are two sides to every story, as well as, recognize when the truth/facts are being laid before you or not; so that we who in today's society rely on internet access for honest information and are looking for protection from people who, unfortunately, do Rip us Off will be not have to put up with such Smear Campaigns as Ms. Lois W's; when in reality we are only seeking protection and truth. I, also, hope that if you are, unfortunately, facing divorce or the aftermaths and are in need of an attorney that will always guide you to put your children first, and that will be honest with you when you are making a mistake or being unreasonable, will consider Linda Souve or her associates as your attorney. She is a remarkable woman and is considered high above those other attorneys that will take your money and say whatever you want them to say so long as you are paying them without any care or regard for what is in the best interest of your children or also what is in the best interest of you and your ability to move on with your life afterwards. Although Ms. Lois makes claims of outlandish financial charges by Ms. Souve, I for one can assure you that I have never been Nickled and Dimed; as a matter of fact there have been several occasions that I am confident that I have been undercharged and was extremely grateful.

Finally, it is best to never belong to the Let's drag out a divorce forever Club, but if you really want a chance at not belonging to that club then you cannot go wrong with Linda Souve, Souve, Pendracki, Burks, Rhodehouse, PLLC.

This case is written with to many unknowns.When I hired Linda for my divorce[2 times] her interest was to take care of me and what was best for my children. Linda did not over charge me for my divorce she was very fair and always honest.She was always looking out for me her client, as I believe Linda does with every client including the two childern in the case that Lois W is referring to. If the father gained custody of those two childern then Linda had good reason to believe that was the best place for them.Lois should be happy that her childern had such a good lawyer.I would of loved to have gotten custody of my children but Linda told me I would be fighting to lose and paying her for something I couldn't get. So my ex wife got custody and I got the visitations and it worked out well. I have two great kids and their mother did a great job with raising them. So if Linda faught for the childern and did what was in the best interest of the childern then she is a great lawyer and I would highly recommend her to everyone I know and those I don't. Lois needs to take a long look at her life and ask herself why she really lost her children. It wasn't because Linda is out for money because that little bit of money couldn't have paid for all her work she put into that case.

There is no way I can believe that the accusations against Linda Souve and her associates could possibly be true.

In fact, it is nothing short of defamation, if not outright lies. I'm guessing that if the person making these accusations had any net worth to speak of, her goose would be cooked.

You should not be allowed to just (try) to ruin reputations just because you didn't get your way in court or have things go your way and have internet access.

Lois W. - Karma will catch up to you.

Linda helped mediate our divorce until we decided to not go through with it. We decided not to go the mediation route just to simplify the process for us. I ended up retaining Linda as my attorney, and my wife decided to forego representation because she trusted Linda that much.

Yeah, I can hear all the lawyers and other critics out there already. Well too bad, because things worked out for us. We didn't take a bath or get screwed.

So to all of you reading the rip on Linda. Forget about it. As I said, it's a bunch of BS.

This is in response to report #347924 Linda R. Souve, Pendracki, Burks, Rhodehouse PLLC. I know nothing about the case between Souve and Lois W. but I do know Linda Souve. She represented me in a very brutal divorce. For 2 years of having her as my lawyer I came to know her as honest, thorough and professional.

While mud slinging by the opposing counsel was a daily event, Linda refused to take the low road. Her integrity and obsession to do the right thing has changed my opinion about lawyers. I was very happy with the outcome of my divorce thanks to Linda's dilligent work by her and her staff.

I would reccomend her to anyone. She could have taken me for much more money doing what my ex's lawyer did by filing unnecessary paper work, unnecessary calls to the arbitrator. In other words keeping the cash cow alive. Linda actually saved me money by in some cases not charging for responding to frivolous paper work sent by the opposing counsel.

She was helpful as well to help me find a home, seek counseling and offer support groups. Going well beyond the normal duties as a Lawyer. I am just a blue collar autoworker and don't know much about domestic law. I firmly believe however if Judge Brennan slected Ms. Souve for any position it was because of her knowledge and courage to talk the truth.

I feel it to be a shame to slander Ms. Souve when the attacking story has many holes in it. So, would I hire her again? In a heart beat! Was I surprised at the money I spent. sure, it was a very ugly divorce. However Souve itemize and explained every minute billed and penny paid. Linda would not steal from a client. If there were only two honest Lawyers left on this earth. She would be both of them!
