Linda's Stuff is one of Ebay's darling sellers with almost 150,000 feedback.  But, the truth is the operation is shoddy and quite unethical.  What keeps them going are low prices and easy returns.  Truth is their high shipping costs makes the deal worth their while.  Items described as new have been worn...send them back and they sit on your money for at least seven days during which they relist the item.  And, when you get the refund, they keep the outrageous shipping costs.

Get on their bad side and you've got hell to pay.  I bought an item and returned it and they relisted it before they refunded my purchase (nix the $50 shipping charge).  Then they blocked me from buying again.  My hubby bought me something he thought I'd like and paid and almost two weeks later we learned that they never sent the item or refunded the money we paid.  And Ebay begs us not to contact our credit card company to get the money back.

Worse, when we learned they relisted the item before the refund, we left some not so gracious feedback.  Their response was a bunch of lies about my using the item and returning it used.  But, check the relisting and they write NIB -- NEW IN BOX.

These guys are scumbags that should be avoid at ALL costs. They are so hated that the only way they can sell is by pricing items way below market. (Don't forget to factor in the outrageous shipping costs when determining if the purchase is a "steal")

Ebay presents these people as the epitome of successful sellers...proves that to succeed on Ebay you've got to be deceitful and unethical.

BTW, still waiting for my stuff or my refund on the two pieces i bought. (And, yes I contacted Ebay..h*o-hum)

Shipping fees?

#2Consumer Comment

I assume the shipping fees are listed before you pay for an item. So yes, that is how the seller is listing the items so low. But where is the deception by eBay? If you think the shipping prices are too high, don't buy the item or don't use the seller.

The rating system as well is not a deception..as a matter of fact, it tells you more about a seller then you could ever want to know...the feedback and ratings are left from all the other BUYERS, not eBay.

There are unethical and shady sellers all over the place, not just eBay..no one can stop them all..and shady buyers as well looking to get over. Now out of the 150,000 feedbacks this seller has...how many were negative? If there were any did you read them? If you have all these complaints and trouble with this seller, why are YOU trying to use them again and upset they blocked you?

Oh I can answer that...because you think you can just blame eBay for YOUR poor buying decisions or lack of understanding how to purchase something online using eBay.

Whatever funds are being held you will get back. They have a right to investigate first so no one gets ripped off and leaves them holding the bag.

Go shop at Macys next time, or use Criagslist..yeah no problems there ever.
