Well first of all my Husband and I got alittle behind on our rent and so we needed some assistences and some help and so we have been looking for loans.

And we have were contacted by this Lindenberg Lending Group on my Husbands phone and so he called them back and he was underr the impression that it was a legit company and they were honest on wanting to help us.

Well, that was not the case so in the mean time we went to a payday loan company to up front the money cuz they said that it was a private lender that was going to finance us for a $5000.00 dollar loan and that we would have to make payments of $157.50 each month back for 3 years.

And they said that the private lender need 7 payments of $157.50 up front in the form of a money order, check, or money gram or evern western union.

So we went and did a payday loan for so much and then we took the rest out of our ATM actually we didnt have that money it was already put toward our other bills.

So we were counting on getting the loan and paying back ourselves so that nothing would bounce in our checking acct.

Unfortunatley, that was not the case here, so my Husband calls back the company and we tell him that we are sending a money gram and we need the ifo of where it is going and who its going to and so we do that.

It was going to Canada and I thought for minute or two that it was a scam but my Husband reasurred me that it wasnt, so we sent the money and the man we have been dealing with told us that it would be a 24 hour turn around and we would have the amount in our checking acct the next day.

That never happened and now when we call the phone number no longer exist and the man that we have been talking to does not want ot call us back or anything.

We have the loan documents and his name and the company's name and all the info but it was a total scam and now we are going ot get evicted and thrown out of our home cuz we cant not pay rent.

We were going ot use that loan to play catch up on our bills and everything and our rent and now we are plum out of $645.00 with the amount of the money gram with it.

We had to send 4 payments up front to the private lender of $157.50 and that equaled $630.00 and now we are totally stuck in a rock and a hard place.

What are we going ot do we have until this Tjursday to pay our back rent htat is due.

You were both scammed. It is against the law in the US to charge any type of "security deposit" or require any monthly payments in advance as a condition of getting a loan or being approved for a loan. Prior to the loan approval, lenders are allowed to charge a modest administrative fee for processing the loan application - but that is it. You should note that most reputable lending firms don't charge an "application fee" even though it is legal for them to do so.

ANYTIME a lender wants a security deposit or a some payments in advance prior to approving the loan it is a SCAM!!! RUN AWAY!

Your chances of getting your money back are slim at best. "Companies" that do this move about constantly, changing addresses, phone numbers, internet providers, and domain names for their websites to stay a step or two ahead of law enforcement.

Filling complaints with appropriate governmental agencies will help to compile real statistics as to how ofter this occurs and perhaps pinpoint a few "less than deligent" internet service providers and hosting firms. Perhaps, with enough statistics, Congress and the States will enact more stringent legislation that will prevent this crap, or at least make it quicker and easier to shut them down and prosecute them.

Sorry for your loss.

too was also a victim of a "loan" company but by a different name and location, all the facts of your case sounds just like mine. What they companies prey on is that nobody will pursue their lost any further. Lawyers wont take the case because " it is not enough money" to fight over. You must report this to the better business bureau , attorney general office or your state and the state the company is located in.FBI, and you local police department. The only way for us as victims to win is to ban together an file a class action lawsuit. I looked up many laws about credit services organization act and deceptive trade act. This company like foreclosure assistance companies can be sued for fruad and forced to pay civil penalities, restitution, and punitive damages to victims. It is going to take the FBI to set up a sting on them to bring them to justice. I hope this info helps.
