I Cancelled this service 3 months ago... then I noticed they kept billing my credit card. When I called to tell them to not bill it anymore they said my service was never cancelled. When I asked them to Cancel the service they said they could not do it without some 4 digit code (of which I was never given). They then told me to email customer service and that they could cancel the service. Customer service emailed me back and told me to call billing (who told me to email customer service). I called billing back, and they said they couldn't cancel the account. So I asked how they suggested I go about cancelling the account... they said that it cannot be done without the 4 digit code. I asked to speak to their supervisor... I was told they were all busy and that one would call me back... of course that never happend. As of today, I am disputing the charges on my credit card as this company will not let you cancel their service... How can this be legal?

Also, you'll notice I'm not the only one with this problem, check out this site for complaining about lingo.

YOU supply the 4 digit code when you activate Lingo, not them. Have you forgotten it ? Try your birthdate, or perhaps it's the same 4 digit code you use for your ATM card. Maybe the last 4 of your Social. I have had Lingo for about 3 years now. I made sure MY 4 digit code was easy to remember.
