At their sand-hauling operation in Sparks, NV, I was fired without verbal or written warning. My DMV+ drug +criminal record was spotless, I never missed or was late from work nor disobeyed a single order from management. Being a productive worker on night shift didn't matter as someone further up the food chain didn't like my good looks :).  Could it be they were $800 behind on pay and I stupidly complained about it?

Could it be I complained about hauling 40 tons of sand in dangerously unsafe equipment?  They withheld the final check ( amount was about $ 2387). The Unemployment Commission substantiated my side and the Labour Board got almost all of my pay for me eventually. Nice folks to talk to, especially the one's in Fort Worth Operations, Texas BUT do yourself a favour and work for a company  that's fair, doesn't lie and doesn't steal your pay.
