Charles, you have absolutely NO CLUE as to what is going on in this country, nor where the responsibility lies.  At which college did you study Political Science ???  Oh, wait, I forgot.  You never even finished High School.  In fact, according to YOUR OWN POST, you were THROWN out of High School for the continual disruption of classes and for threatening people.

You have no credibility here, Chuckles.  No one believes a word that emanates from that distorted, pathetic little brain of yours. And you are certainly incapable of helping anyone.  You can't even help yourself, can you ??  You have no use here, other than being a source of laughter for your idiotic distorted posts.  Get lost, you useless little donkey-boy.

Please don't drag me into other peoples complaints.

Thank You

i agree wage garnishment is nothing but legalize theft for the system to do criminal activity on the poor and innocent if common every day folk did this such as our selves you and i would go to jail but if the system does it they legalize it and call it garnishment remember the government is runned by criminals that legalize crimes for their sake court or no court its wrong

maybe the tenant did have a lease after all he didnt say he didnt have one and your right maybe he should get a lawyer but thats expensive and he would be loosing as much money on a lawyer and court fees or he can do it for free spreading the word and information on the internet about this Land lord that stoled from him ,putting the word out will inform other unsuspecting renters from being takend for victims by bad Land lords

That in order to get a garnishment you had to be taken to court to get a judgement? You mentioned a lease in your original post. Are you changing your story now to say there was no lease? If you had a lease, and you broke it by moving out early, then you did owe him money. You would have been notified of a court case and they would have explained what you owe and why. Did you bother to go to court? If you really do not owe the money, you can hire a lawyer to challenge the judgement.

not correct the land lord was renting a no good apartment he new was defective and running away with peoples away that why the Land lord can not keep tenants in his apartment building he goes looking for new tenants every year this is a sign that the property is no good ,secondly i did not owe anything the garnishment was with out permission and warning to the client and nothing stated about a garnishment the land lord made up a money amount for the court and people he secretly had working for him went after my bank account there is so much crookedness and unhanded going on the D.C. government they do things they shouldnt be doing i didnt owe any thing

You were an uphappy tenant. You decided you didnt like living there and he was threatening yuo with eviction, possibly for not paying on time. You decided to move out and in doing so break the lease. You mention later that you did have a lease, usually there is a penalty fee for breaking a lease. the landlord took you to court and got a judgement for the lease and for his court costs. Then the landlord entered for a wage garnishment with your employer for this court judgement.

Does this sound correct? There's nothing illegal going on here. Did you go to court when he sued you or did you just let them get the judgement? It sucks to get a wage garnishment, but this is why you pay your debts owed. This is why you go to court when you are sued.
