Late one night I disabled and on limited income, was watching a infomerical on T.V. about a weight loss pill that needed no excerise program for it to work. Because I'm disabled I thought why not try it. It stated that I could cancel at any time and get my money back. So I called Mid Sept placed the order. On the 13th of Oct. I still had not recieved anything and they had taken $30.94 out of my Visa Card. So I called and talked with a lady which was very understanding for a customer service rep. and said she would cancel but that she saw that the item had been shipped. I told her that I had not recieved any thing in the mail nor was there any pkg. left at my Door. I'm house bound and no one ever knocked on my door. Nor did I sign for any package.

Well the month of Nov rolled around and I kept an eye on my Credit Card and there was no atemp to take any payment so I felt that the customer service rep did her job. Not so there was no notes on my file that I had called nor was there anything written about the cancelation request. So in Dec. checking my Credit Card all of a sudden there they were taking out $59.84 out of my Account and so I called them and they insisted that I had gotten the package and that I couldn't cancel unless I mailed it back to them and until then I stilled owed for the product. I told them I had never recieved anything from their company and they didn't care they said it was delivered even though they didn't have my signature for anything. So I guess I will have to go without food for the month of Dec. because those gamblers need the money more than us elderly and disable. Please if you think their going to help you loose weight the only way they do it to take your food income, with a smile in their voice and the TV ads. This is a very poor way to run a company. They call you liers and say you get something when in fact you did not.

Talking trash?

Where did I ever talk trash about the customer in my reply? I simply stated that the company has policies and procedures in order to issue a refund to an account. If the customer feels they are entitled to a refund for any reason, all they need to do is follow the procedures the representitive they speak with on the phone advises them of, and guess what? They receive the refund. This case is a perfect example of this.

I'm over weight and so is my feonc'e we were thinking of doing something to help us like a weight loss plan like weight watchers or lipozene. Some people like us just need the help to stay on track Its just so d**n tempting to cheat on the diet. Doing the whole change your diet and workout plan everyone else in the world can do is harder for some and trust me I've tried many times. Anyways I saw the ad for lipozene and wanted to check it out on here and i am so glad i did. The person who claimed to be working for this company, you are doing such a great job representing your company. I love to see employees talking trash about unhappy customers it just makes me want to purchase the product you and your company are working so hard to promote.

Miss Russell, I personally looked into your account yesterday after I read this, and looked into the notes. It looks to me as though we offered, many times in fact, to send you a postal claim form so we could further investigate exactly what happened to your package. You declined this several times so the only hard information we had was the delivery confirmation data supplied to us by the post office. Had you simply accepted the postal claim for the 1st time it was offered, we could have not only refunded the $29.95 for your 1st billing, but also cancelled the future billing immediatly when that claim form was returned to us. Finally after 8 calls (that I counted) you returned a postal claim form to us, and guess what? your money was refunded in full. Amazing the way things work when you go by the system, as opposed to trying to fight it huh?

Here is some inside information for you:

The makers of the so called "scam" can be reached at 1-888-220-8907

The dubious makers of Lipozene is a company by the name of Obesity Research Institute LLC. They also make Fiberthin and Propolene. All of their products are the same with different names. They have been named in many court actions for making misleading weight-loss claims. And hundreds of consumer complains file with the Nevada Better Business Bureau.

Other information useful:

http://www.lipozene.com is owned by West Corporation CEO Thomas B. Barker at 402-963-1200 to complain. And call often to ensure the message is received.

I have seen this up close and this is a scam. West represents other reputable companies like Time Life and Guthy Renker. I bet they would run for the hills if they became associated with this scam.

Also http://www.walmart.com carries the so called "scam that I have seen" they need to also be contacted because I am sure http://www.walmart.com does not want to be associated with this kind of ruthless scam.

Look at the ad. It says the average person lost 3 pounds in an 8 week study. A pound of fat equals 3500 Calories. If you simply cut out 500/day, you would lose 1 pound each week. That's 8 pounds in 8 weeks.

That's also very good. Losing weight faster than you put it on is meaningless. You'll just gain it back very quickly.

There are no miracle pills for losing fat. Change your diet, and do some exercize. That's the only way to do it. Strange diet plans don't work either. Eat less fat(you need some), and cut down on carbs(you need some). Eat more protein, and cut out the snacks.

Good luck.
