Read around & you will find TONS of people who have been swindled. I knew there were some complaints but I thought people were expecting too much when buying returned & wholesale merchandise. Shame on me for having such ignorance and arrogance. I bid on several auctions and won 2. It was my intention to only win 1 or 2 as a test of the service & etc. There were several auctions for windows software and many different people bidding. I do suspect now that often the bidders are shill bidders (fake bidders to drive price up). 1 of the listings I won was what I thought to be pretty safe bet. It was for 5 "Windows Vista Ultimate FULL VERSION (DVD)". They were fully manifested and listed as "returns". I figured packages would be unsealed and/or damaged and/or missing key codes. What I did not expect was 1 package to be completely empty & 1 package to be an "Upgrade version". I have also learned that the other 3 have been installed already somewhere else even though I posses the dvd, COA, & key code. The other item I won was for 29 K-Byte brand 1 GB memory card returns. This was a risk since they also were returns and could be faulty & several are. What I did not expect was that half of them are not K-Byte brand (clearly marked on card) but much cheaper brands & several were 512 & 256 mb (also clearly marked on card). This listing also was "fully manifested" stating they all were 1 gb & k-byte brand. I have filed complaints/disputes with Paypal (that was my method of payment), liquidation.com, FTC, BBB, & the state attorney generals office. Paypal closed the case because I received a package & beyond that it is not their business what the contents were.

Essentially as far as paypal was concerned the box could have been empty. Liquidation.com is silent ( go figure). I don't expect much help from anybody else either, since they have already been removed from BBB & there are soooooooo many complaints out there. Basically they have it all figurred out. As long as they send you something, then they can stay in business without being prosecuted or sued. They make enough off each sale to disregard any repeat business lost from these scams. The founder (Billy Burke) has even been fired & swindled out of his shares in the company. This was before they completely lost all of their business ethics. If there is anyone out there who is willing to advise or help in any means possible, then there are tons of us who want to see justice done. Even if it means no return of our money. I would imagine that if every person who has been scammed by this company were to call them and complain on the same day, then their phone lines would jammed. Same for their website too I suppose? What truly baffles me is that there has not been a class action lawsuit filed. It only takes 3 parties to start. Just one more example of financial terrorism existing in our own country under the partnership & blessing of our own government. DOD uses them to sell things too!!!!!!
