Complaint Review: Lisa Applewhite (seller ID:ladytycoon)

On 03/26/2004, I visited a web site that was an online auction site at www.sell.com On this date I inquired about some items that were for sale by a seller named ladytycoon on the site. I placed my order with her and my order was for 7 items: 2 purses, 1 wallet, 2 belts, and 2 (3pc. sets) cosmetic pouches.

My order total was $164 and $16 for shipping. I told her I would mail a money order in the amount of $180 to her address. I mailed it to Lisa Applewhite at 458 Lehigh Ave., Union, NJ 07083. I sent it via Priority mail with delivery confirmation. She received my payment on April 9, 2004.

She emailed me and told me she received my payment on April 9th. She also told me she would ship on April 10,2004. I called her on Tuesday, April 13th to confirm shipment and she then told me that she did not ship on Saturday, the 10th, but on Monday the 12th.

It is now April 15th and I still do not have anything. Priority mail only takes 2-3 business days so I don't believe she mailed me anything. She EVEN went so far as to give me an invalid tracking number, and when I asked her about it, she told me to call her back and now she is not answering my calls (this happened today, April 15, 2004).

I also sent emails warning her that if I did not hear from her by this evening, that I would have to report her, and she STILL has not attempted to contact me! I don't know what else to do. I need to get my money back if nothing else. Thank you!
