Lisa Crocker sells many breeds of dogs over the internet claiming they are pure-bred rare breed dogs from Champion European bloodlines. She has, in the past, used pictures of other breeders dogs to sell her puppies. She has shipped a dog with a forged/fake Health Certificate. Many people have received sick dogs. Most never receive papers. One never received her dog (which was paid for in full).

When questioned, Lisa becomes verbally abusive to the buyer and then changes her phone numbers and emails and has also been known to move from one state to another. She claims to her buyers to be a caring breeder, when in fact she really is a puppy broker. She is currently advertising Havanese, Bolgonese, English Bulldog, Bull terrier, French bulldog, Bernese Mountain Dog, Tiny Teacup Yorkies, Welsh Terrier, and Cavalier King Charles/Shih Tzu mix on usfreeads.com. I

n the past, she was advertising South Russian, and Central Asian Ovcharka on this site. She also advertises on terrificpets.com (Coton de Tulear, Havanese, Bull Terrier, English Bulldog, French Bulldog). She used to advertise on puppydogweb.com. SHe sells her "show-quality" puppies for 1800-2500 depending on the breed, yet the buyer receives no papers and puppies that are clearly NOT show-quality. Many of her victims have filed charges against her. The USDA is currently investigating her shipping practices.

If you plan to buy a dog from this person (who also goes by her mothers name, Sandra Marlow, and sometimes just uses the first name Gayle or Mel), please read the stories from her victims on http://home.wanadoo.nl/mar.brie/index.html.

I have never met anyone as despicable as you and your husband.  You probably don,t remember me since I purchased my

now 42 lb. blind havanese with constant ear infections and serious skin problems.  I paid $1200 for all this too!!  And, oh

by the way, I'm the one who found out where you lived and went to pay you a call.  Funny, you had packed up and left in

the middle of the night before I could confront you.  Could it be that I had already complained to the Fayette County Sheriff

regarding your practices.  Your house was in such bad shape it should have been condemed and those "lovely little cages"

where you kept those puppies you loved so much were abhorrent.  Did the law ever get you for the felony you convicted when you used a person in Montana to forge your health certificates.  I could go on and on but I think anyone who reads this

will get the picture.  You are a cruel, heartless, witch who played on the kindness of real pet lovers.  If anyone doubts what I

am saying, I now live 1 mile where she was running her scam.  Lisa, Sandra, Gail, whatever your name is, I heard you had

been arrested in New York some time back.  Even if this is not the case, you will pay for the horrendous acts you have

committed against helpless animals and the b.s. You have spouted out to fools like me who actually believed you.  Please do not respond to me because you make me sick.

news report on this individual

Police in Vestal have busted up an international dog selling scam. Police said Lisa Crocker, 39, and Michael Crocker, 40, are part of a scam that brought dogs in from Russia and then resold them in the U.S.

The investigation started when police said the couple bought a Tibetan Mastiff puppy from a breeder in the Czech Republic, had it shipped to their Vestal home, and never paid for it. A number of the dogs brought to the U.S. illegally are believed to have health issues.

Lisa and Michael Crocker are charged with criminal possession of stolen property.

The person in question is a good person, generous and nice. She didn't lie in her statement. The only cages in her possesion are the bird and rabbit cages. Leave it be and let bygones be bygones.

If you are innocent why not publish your contact information so that disgruntle customers can contact you directly rather than the Internet? Seems to me you are just trying to avoid them. If you have papers, why not provide them to the customers? Since all have left their contact information and you have NOT, seems obvious who is the liar. And why did the court system indict her on six counts? Don't understand that, and that is official public record so Lisa Crocker can't deny that.

Most of the garbage that has been posted is just that. Garbage. I have never sold or seen most of the breeds listed and did not sell any sick dogs. All dogs I did sell were healthy when they went. They were health guaranteed and there was not one instance of a person submitting any kind of vet proof of a sick puppy. According to Marian, this lady in Maryland, I am not a breeder at all, but a broker. In fact, I have been a breeder for many, many years. I had a pair of Bernese Mountain Dogs that I had two litters of puppies from 4 and 5 years ago. I spayed my Bernese female and haven't had a Berner puppy since. You will not find anyone that I sold Welsh Terriers, Central Asians, South Russians, Yorkies, Bull Terriers, Bolognese and mixed Cavalier Shih/Tzus etc. I am sick and tired of people accusing me of things I did not do, not to mention including my mother.

I spent thousands of dollars to buy some of the top dogs in the world as my pets, most from World Champions. I have never had one of my dogs in a cage and they live as house pets. The person that wrote this got her puppy and got her papers. She started complaining because she wanted me to keep the pup an additional three weeks and give it to her on a specified date. I had to go out of town the week before and told her in plenty of time. She decided that she wanted the puppy three days earlier than we had planned. I was not going to be there and she knew it. She decided that she wanted to spend a couple of days with the pup before her nanny took over. My husband had to take off work to take the puppy. Once he got there, he was told that a basketball team was on board and there was too much extra luggage so he couldn't ship her on that flight. She and her husband called my husband and yelled at him, accused us of stealing their money etc. I came back late Sunday night and my husband told me that the pup didn't go. The pup went on Monday like we had planned in the first place. I took her to the vet right before the flight to have an up to the minute health check and health certificate since this lady was so nasty. I offered at least 5 different times to refund her money and for her to return the pup. She said that she wasn't unhappy with the puppy, she hated me and this would be more fun.(I have the e-mails to prove it). She not only set out to ruin my reputation, her ultimate goal was to ruin my life, which she succeeded. All over a puppy that she said she wanted to keep. It seems to me like in the real world, if you are so unhappy with a purchase and someone offers to let you return your pup for a full refund, that you would do it. She wouldn't take her money back and then decided that she wanted to keep her pup and still have her money back. To me SHE is the ripoff. You wouldn't go to a store and say you didn't like something and demand your money back, but not return what you bought. That is what two of these people are doing. It doesn't work that way for me or any breeder. If you are unhappy with your dog and want your money back, take it when it is offered and return the pup. If you don't then you have no right to complain.

She spent so much time trying to convince people they had been scammed, some feel like they have been. Now people are lying to "jump on the bandwagon" and to participate. It is almost a mob like mentality and I think some of these people have been convinced they have mutts by Marian, so they convinced themselves they are telling the truth, when in fact they are very mistaken. (They read it on the internet so it must be true, right?) Most puppies were sold as pets at a pet price (not the high price she quoted), without papers. There were very few puppies that were sold as show potential pups. My dogs all came from generations of champions, so it isn't unreasonable to sell some of them as show potential, but those were very few.

I did move out of state and it was planned for months. I went at least one weekend a month to look at prospective houses and most people knew that. It was not sudden and of course my phone number changed. Sorry, I didn't think to call every person I had ever sold a dog to to tell them my life plans. When we moved we changed e-mail providers. That tends to happen when you move out of state. I don't appreciate the accusation that it had anything to do with anybody. As much as they might like to think they were responsible, they had nothing to do with it. I did sell most of my dogs and am no longer interested in breeding. From where I sit, it is very difficult to tell the crazy people from the sane ones, so it isn't worth it any more.

As much as people would want to believe all the things that are printed by this little mob, you will not find one person that has been in my home that has met me or my dogs that will agree with them. The people that have spoken in my defense are always accused of being me and are attacked. All of the top show breeders I bought my dogs from have confirmed to them that I did indeed purchase show puppies from them and have the European dogs I claimed. I have the pedigrees and the signed contracts to prove it as well. So, who is the liar?
