Complaint Review: Listen Vision Recording Studios

Listen Vision claims to be DC's #1 recording studio but they are far from it. These guys make a living by taking advantage of local artists and musicians. They offer a multitude of services that they either they straight don't provide (but still charge you for) or do very poorly. I am a recording artist in the DC area and I paid them for a "radio promotion campaign". They were going to master my tracks, take photos, make a press kit, put it online, and send it out to people. In the end, they mastered my tracks, that's it. I gave them $750.00 to "middleman" master my tracks (they sent my tracks to be mastered at another studio) and say they were going to do a bunch of things that they didn't do and have no clue how to do. They never gave me any reason except that these things would be done for me later.

BTW, They charge $60/hr and use nothing but consumer equipment that anyone can buy at guitar center and they run old software. Do yourself a favor and go record at Omega Studios, Avalon Studios, Cue Studios, anywhere but Listen Vision DC's Worst recording studio.
