I MUST USE CAPITAL LETTERS MY VISION IS SO POOR. THIS ACTUAL CASE IS PAGES LONG. I WAS THE SELLER IN THIS SITUATION.
I WOULD LIKE THE ADMINISTRATION TO READ ALL OF THE CORRESPONDENCE BETWEEN ME AND THE WINNER OF THIS AUCTION. THE POST OFFICE HAS ALREADY OFFERED TO REFUND HER. I CANNOT AS THEM FOR A REFUND, I DID NOT RECEIVE THE ITEM DAMAGED. THIS IS GETTING RIDICULOUS. THIS IS OUT OF MY CONTROL. IF THEY ARE PAYING THEY KNOW THEY ARE AT FAULT. THE BUYER DOES NOT WANT TO WAIT FOR HER CHECK FOR $50.00. YOU CAN SEE I DID NOT DAMAGE THE ITEM. IT WAS TOGETHER FINE WHEN I SENT IT. I HAD TRACKING, PRIORITY SHIPPING, AND INSURANCE ON IT. SHE BEGGED ME FOR A GIN. PLUS, I HAVE PLENTY OF COMMENTS ON MY PACKING.
WILL SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT THE PROBLEM IS WHEN THIS IS NOT MY FAULT? I SHOULD BE ABLE TO KEEP MY POINTS OWED ME PENDING AND THE BUYER WILL GET ALL OF HER MONEY BACK TOO. WHAT IS THE QUESTION ABOUT THIS? WHY IS IS TAKING SO LONG. LISTIA IS BASED ON REPUTATION AND I FOLLOWED MORE THAN ALL THE RULES. I TRIED TO EXPLAIN WHAT IF I DID NOT HAVE INSURANCE? I CANNOT FIGHT THE POST OFFICE FOR HER POINTS. IT DID NOT ARRIVE TO ME WITH THE CLIP BROKEN. PLEASE READ THIS AND GET BACK TO ME SOMEONE. IT IS NOT LISTED AS AN OPEN DISPUTE ON MY PAGE. WHAT BETTER RESOLUTION THAN WE BOTH GET TO KEEP OUR POINTS? WHAT IS THE PROBLEM? THANK YOU, PLEASE CONTACT ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. JOHANNA SMITH.

you Seller Reply
I am not sure what more I can do. I packed the knife in several rolls of bubble wrap. I had tracking on it, and I went out of my way to pay for priority shipping with "FRAGILE" written all on the package. If you look at the pictures you can see it was clearly not broken prior to shipping. Also I include this statement on my auction page: "* I believe my auctions are fare, and I am an honest person. I provide the best possible information & photographs that I can at the time I run an auction and add changes if I am aware of any. I DO NOT BELIEVE IN RETURN CREDITS UNLESS I SIMPLY DO NOT MAIL YOUR ITEM(S) I PROVIDE TRACKING INFORMATION ON EVERY MAILING AT EXTRA COST & HAVE NO CONTROL OVER THE POSTAL SERVICE." I have had things broken before and all the buyer has to do is go to the post office, and get a refund since it is covered. The auction was for 50,111 points and the insurance is for $50.00. I have never had to return points when I have provided tracking, insurance, and priority. It seems like the issue is with the post office. As a seller what more could I have done. If a claim is made the buyer can buy 50,000 more points. Why should I be responsible for what the Post Office messed up? I could understand if it were my packing or not insuring or marking "FRAGILE" all on the package.
i can send you a pic of the broken clip..its not my fault it got broke, so way should i loss out on this deal..50,111 and a broken item..

you
You can see by the photographs that it was not broken when I sent it. I have several comments on my packing and how well it is. All you have to do is put in a claim, give them the knife and get your $50.00 for your points back and neither one of us are at fault. That had to be slammed pretty hard with some force to be broken as close as that clip was to the back. It was not either of our faults. I am not blaming you. I don't think either of us should loose out. The Post Office is at fault. You can show them that you purchased it for the $50.00 point value. You'll get your $50.00 and you can buy all the points back. I really did not make the whole $50.00 on the knife with what Listia took from the sale, with what the listing cost me, and then to GIN it, and with shipping. Not close. I don't think I should loose when I did all I possibly could and it was not my fault at all either. All you have to do is take the knife, the package, the shipping bubble wrap I had inside and show them it was a purchase. The Post Office writes you a check. What if I had not insured it? I could have just put tracking. I don't think it is either one of our faults. When you make a claim it is my understanding they will keep the item.

Let's just let Listia decide. I cannot get online everyday. I am disabled. I have tried to help you as much as I can. I just do not feel responsible for something I did not do. If they are going to send you a check then they know it was wrapped correctly and their fault.
