Listingcorp I paid this company $47.50 to list my website on search engines. They cashed the check, but never rendered services. ripoff New York
I received a direct mail advertisement from Listingcorp.com, stating they would submit my website to "20 major search engines for $47.50." They also claimed they would send me an initial position ranking report,and quarterly engine position reports. This "contract" was for one year (December 2005- December 2006.)
I sent a check for the required amount, and never heard from them again. I visited their website several times and contacted them by email. They never responded to my emails.
This "Website Listing Service" looks legitimate on paper. The company has a website, they used all the correct terminology for computer listing and even remind the consumer not to send cash. However, there is no telephone number, and the address is only on the return envelope. That is why I have no address. I do remember that it was going to the state of New York.
I was disappointed when they cashed the check, and never rendered services.
