Complaint Review: Lithia Dodge Las Cruces

The auto repair shop at Lithia Dodge in Las Cruces did not do the work they said would be done based on my request.

My truck needed new clutch assembly, fly wheel and rear main seal.  I was told this was all completed and I paid over the phone.  My son lived near by and picked up the truck for me so I never seen the paper work.  I specifically said replace the rear main seal and I was told it was done.  Less then 25, 000 miles and it is leaking.  Their records indicate the seal was NOT replaced (I was told on the phone that it was).  Prior to driving almost 200 miles to see them I talked to a service rep who said, yes it is all covered under warranty so bring it on down.  I did just that and now I'm told they will not make it right.  I was told all parts are covered under warranty.  Come to find out seals are not covered under warranty anyway.  When I talk to the service reps and their supervisor, they were very rude.  One even responed to me in a sarcastic way by saying "How's this our problem?".  I will never buy from Lithia Dodge and I suggest you do not either.  I talk to the cooperate office and they basically said there is nothing they can do.  Rude and unprofessional all around.  If anyone is in the market for a dodge vehicle, please pass the word around that warranty work, their WORD, and custormer service is all BS.  Lets make a stand and hit them in their sales and protect yourself and your friends.
