Little Texas Concrete & Asphalt Repair Raymond Luna Poor Concrete Work Warranty NOT Backed Up!!! Fort Worth Texas
On October 22, 2014, Raymond Luna of Little Texas Concrete & Repair, and a crew of approximately seven (7) men came to my house and poured a 20' x 20' concrete patio/slab (with 8" footing for future, possible home extension construction) as well as a side walkway leading from the back of the house, into a 2-car wide driveway. They did all of the prep work, includiing setting the forms and laying the steel.
Mr. Luna REQUIRED half of $5,000 up front BEFORE beginning, and then the other half the day of the pour. He cashed these checks within hours of our handing them to him!
Approximately 7 or 8 months later, I noticed significant, structural cracks in the back patio as well as running across the width of my driveway. I spent 5 yrs working in asphalt and concrete, and so I know structural cracks when I see them. These cracks, I knew, upon my inspection, were through-and-through and will eventually cause these areas to completely fail.
I called Mr. Luna in August of 2015, WELL WITHIN the 1 yr warranty period of the contract Mr. Luna and I signed. Mr. Luna balked at my descriptions of the cracks telling me "That's normal," and that "...other contractors will tell you bullshit that those cracks are bad." I kindly asked Mr. Luna to at least come look at the cracks and he said, "That's fine." He never showed up. It's now October 19, two days away from the warranty expiration.
Mr. Luna was quick to take our money, provide SUB-PAR service and and DOES NOT HONOR HIS WARRANTY!
Sincerely,
Charles Pruett
